Greetings everyone!! These days the weather in the entire North India is too dull. The clouds don’t seem to leave us at any point. Sometimes its drizzling, sometimes its raining cats and dogs and sometimes the weather is bleak, gloomy and sticky. In no-sun days, when everything seems so dim and sombre, I thought why not add some vividness to the terrain by wearing smoky red. So here I go with my today’s prose “Devil wears RED”. P.S. I am not the devil, but while posing for these shots, I imagined having a part of “D” in me.. wink!!
I had always mentioned how challenging it is to design. Having believed that there exists a very thin line between art and design, I make sure whatever I design is consumable and accepted by all. Even more challenging these days is to create a perfect look for the garment I design. In the flesh I am a hundred miles from my photographic alter ego. Thus, I often question her, “how many looks can u carry darling?”. “Just wait and watch”, my alter ego replies always. And here goes the transition from the princess in the previous look to a devil red hot in this one. HAHA!!
The red dress is made out of silk and most of it is hand sewed. To complete the look, I puffed up my wavy locks, wore a black smoky eye-makeup, bold red lips and solid-red nails. I paired up my little red dress from my label SHRUTI S with a black, velvet platform heels with metallic straps from ZARA.
We shot this ensemble in “The Grandeur” which is situated on National Highway 22. The royal white structure, huge pillars, the amazing white stairs and elaborate greenery that surrounds the constructed part, catches the eye of every passer-by. A place apt for grand parties and elaborate wedding ceremonies, we are thrilled to have shot for this post there.
